To prevent theft of motorbikes, pushbikes, trailers, large lawnmowers etc, high output audible alarm locks are very useful. The alarm features a steel cable that is attached to railings or lampposts and then inserted into a cable-locking socket. In order to protect against any cutting of the cable or tampering with the lock, a tamper switch and vibration sensor is provided. In addition, battery condition and settings are indicated by the confirmation beeps when the unit is switched on. In case of any manual tampering, there is a delay of 5 seconds after which the alarm automatically starts siren indicating meddling or tampering of the equipment for a period of 15 or so seconds. The siren rings for 5 seconds and goes off after 15 continually. This alarming cycle continues until tampering with the equipment is stopped. Mounting brackets provided with the device are purpose designed such that it fits to the specific frame type. These items work on 9 V or 12V batteries ensure the alarm lasts for a time by which thief cannot work at cutting or forcing any lock without catching attention from any persons within hearing distance.
